IdrAgra is a distributed-parameter conceptual model, which allows the simulation of the irrigation water distribution in agricultural areas and the estimation of the hydrological balance on a daily basis.
IdrAgra includes four modules devoted to specific tasks:
- crop phenology,
- soil-crop water balance,
- irrigation,
- crop yield.
IdrAgra operates in two modes:
- NEED mode, for the estimation of the crop water needs of an irrigated area,
- USE mode, for the simulation of irrigation the water use and crop production of an irrigated area.
